These task make duplicate removal more efficient.
Identifying different colour versions of photos. If your client wants to keep B&W and/or Sepia version of photos, they need to be idetified and Keyworded so that they are not accidentally removed as duplicates.
Managing added metadata. There's no point in preserving added metadata if it's redundant or meaningless - like the IPTC Description 'Olympus Digital Camera'.
Editing photo file extensions. So that the 'Same File Extension' option in DCP5 works as intended.
Editing filenames to facilitate duplicate removal. Removing filename suffixes that are not recognized as a 'Copy' part of filename by DCP5. When more filenames are recognized as being the same, duplicate removal is much more efficient..
